Job Description
 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Commis Sommelier to join our team at the luxurious Constance Moofushi resort in the Maldives. As a Commis Sommelier, you will work closely with our Head Sommelier to provide exceptional wine service and enhance our guests' dining experiences.

  • Assist the Head Sommelier in managing the resort's wine cellar and inventory
  • Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations to guests, considering their preferences and menu selections
  • Conduct wine tastings and participate in wine education sessions for guests and staff
  • Maintain accurate records of wine sales and stock levels
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of wines to maintain their quality
  • Assist in creating and updating wine lists and menus
  • Prepare and serve basic cocktails as required
  • Collaborate with the food and beverage team to enhance wine and food pairings
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Stay informed about current wine trends and new products in the market
