Stokkebye Vineyard founded in 2009 is a family-owned organic winery located in Bovense, on the island of Funen, Denmark. With 6 hectares of vines, the estate is one of Denmark’s largest and most recognised wineries, producing around 20,000 bottles annually, with production expected to increase in the coming years.
Specialising in organic sparkling and white wines, made primarily from Pinot Noir and Solaris, Stokkebye wines are featured in Michelin-starred and gourmet restaurants across the Nordic countries, France and Germany.
Your responsibilities
Vineyard
Working closely with the winery team and seasonal workers, you will oversee and carry out the main vineyard operations throughout the growing season: pruning, tying down, shoot thinning, canopy management, harvesting and other seasonal tasks. You will also contribute to vineyard maintenance and ensure the health of the vines and the quality of the grapes.
You will be expected to work independently, plan and organise daily tasks, and coordinate work efficiently.
Cellar
You will also participate in cellar operations, including harvest reception, grape sorting, fermentation monitoring and general cellar work. Further duties may include cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities, as well as assisting with bottling and other winery operations.
