We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance & Operations Manager to join our US team and support our long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing wine importation, distribution, and sales (e.g., TTB, FDA, CBP, state alcohol boards).

Prepare, file, and maintain required permits, licenses, and reports (COLAs, import permits, excise tax filings, FDA Prior Notices, customs documentation).

Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, legal advisors, and customs brokers.

Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on compliance risks and requirements.

Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Administrative & Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including contract management, record-keeping, and vendor coordination.

Supervise and optimize logistics workflows (import documentation, shipping, warehousing, distribution).

Coordinate with finance teams on inventory reporting, excise tax calculations, and compliance-related accounting.

Maintain accurate product data, certifications, and documentation for all imported wines.

Support sales and marketing teams by providing compliance guidance for promotions, labels, and packaging.
Leadership & Strategic Support:

Partner with senior management to identify risks and opportunities related to compliance and operations.

Contribute to long-term strategic planning for business expansion into new markets or states.

Represent the company in industry associations, compliance forums, and trade organizations.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $80,000/year (gross)

Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days in the first year, increasing to 20 days starting from the second year of employment.
