We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team at one80 Valletta. The ideal candidate will elevate our wine service, provide expert recommendations to guests, and ensure seamless pairing with our modern Mediterranean menu.

Responsibilities :

Manage the restaurant’s wine list, including selection, ordering, and inventory management.
Recommend wine pairings to guests and provide detailed knowledge of wines and regions.
Conduct staff training on wine service and tasting techniques.
Maintain proper storage and presentation of all wines.
Attend wine tastings and events to enhance knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure all service standards are met, creating a memorable guest experience.

< Bac : CAP / CAP Agricole / BEPA

Expérience professionnelle

Moins de 2 ans d'exp

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sommelier in fine dining establishments.

• Extensive knowledge of international and local wines.

• Certification from a recognized wine program (WSET (Level 3), Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent) preferred.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

• Passion for hospitality and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
