I was responsible for the redefinition of hospitality after the famous (Hungary’s top 10) restaurant of St. Donat Wine Estate closed permanently. As a Tasting Room Manager, my primary duty was to increase wine sales by developing wine tours and the quality of hospitality. I trained and supervised the team and developed and executed cellar tours and wine tastings. In addition, I planned and implemented marketing events, developed the brand image, the website, and digital content, created a bar menu and represented the estate at different events. I was also responsible for the management of wine and food inventories and financial reports in the tasting room. |

My responsibilities were the management and implementation of the cellar works and the supervision of a small team during the harvest. Following the winemaker’s instructions, I organised the daily tasks and calculated additions. In addition, I got acquainted with the technique of making Provance-styled rose, fortified wine, and vinification intégrale. In my free time, I was always happy to bring the tasting room visitors around the cellar. |

At the biodynamic Château Fonplégade, I worked beside the winemaker and supervised a small team during the harvest. I also had the opportunity to work at Château l’Enclos in Pomerol, which belongs to the owners of Château Fonplégade. After my return, I graduated with an excellent grade in Budapest. |

During my sixth semester, I worked in the Southern Hemisphere and gained insight into the real new world of winemaking: sparging, cross-flow filtration, rvdf, floatation, dry inoculation, and in modern Sauvignon blanc and Pinot noir vinification. I also got to work beside the winemaker during the daily fermentation monitoring. |

The owner of Weinreich Cellar is a good friend of mine, and because of my interest in and love for the profession, I helped him regularly in the vineyard and the cellar. I also made one of my firsts wine here, a Bläufrankisch (2018) that won a gold award in the Wine Competition of Pari (2019) and the Best Red Wine award in the Wine Competition of Tamasi (2019). |
