We are offering a hands-on Assistant Winemaker Internship at Massaya Winery where you will be responsible for overseeing the white wine production process. You will work alongside a qualified team and report directly to the winemaker, gaining valuable experience in low-intervention winemaking.
Responsibilities:
Assist in grape sorting, pressing, fermentation (mostly in oak), and aging on lees.
Supervises and contributes to the production of 5,000 cases of white wine.
Oversee an experimental terraced vineyard, working with indigenous yeast and grape varieties such as Clairette, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Obeidi, and Roll.
Follow the winery's philosophy of minimal intervention winemaking.
Report on ongoing work and collaborate with the winemaker for daily guidance.
