The Group Les Grands Chais de France, first French exporter of wines and spirits, is present in the majority of the French wine-producing regions. The Group realizes more than 75 % of its turnover in the export.

The group strengthens its Commercial team and recruits a Key Account Manager (Chateau & Domain Ambassador), responsible for the sales and distribution strategy of all company owned Chateau's and Domaines via direct supply or through a series of agreed On Trade wholesalers

 

Your tasks and responsabilities

You have to develop and implement a long-term strategy in order to increase market share and profitability on your area:

• Manage our key accounts and support all their activities relevant for the development of our chateau and domain

• Defining programming and incentives according to strategy

• Working with wholesalers representatives and sales managers

• Launching new products

• Analyze competitors, understand the shelf of the customer, detect "gaps" (missing products), and define the price positioning

• Develop solutions corresponding to customer needs

• Build qualitative and long-term relations with your customers: identify the interlocutors, master the decision circuit

• Manage the relation with customers: agreement, referencing, promotional means, administrative and budgetary follow-up

• Monitor reporting and dashboards; direct reporting to Country Manager

Profil recherché

• Knowledge of wine production at all steps from vineyard to market

• Trade marketing skills with ability to set up events and tastings

• Ability to train Customers sales teams around new vintages, new products and general brand awareness

•  Representation of wines and brands in the field, run promotion activities, education and support of sales team 

•  Good knowledge of the On Trade wholesalers 

• Proven expertise in interpersonal and relationship building skills is required

• Benchmark / competitive analysis / analysis of data

• Comfortable with IT tools and Office Pack, the candidate masters particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Organisation and execution of distributor trips to the vineyard including tasting and training along with the team at the property
