After 25 years in Europe , I am actually looking for new opportunity and extending my horizon, actually in charge as Head Sommelier at Gili-Lankanfushi Maldives . I have an extensive knowledge of wines and spirits and as well worked in direct contact with retail customers. In charge of all operation concerning the wines and tasting at Gili, I extend offers and re-balance the wine list there, reduce loss and took back full control of stocks, conduct promotions and interview for local magazine and international press. I have an extensive organizing and overseeing launch of new product and negotiation with suppliers. I have held in Uk as well the positions of Product Manager/Training manger. I am definitively looking for a more hands-on approach. I have strong IT skills, good commercial skills and business acumen in trade marketing understanding of independent liquor, wine and spirits. I have as well a comprehensive knowledge of product development, product pricing, profitability, promotion risk management, analysis and problem solving. I have designed and implement a wide variety of Training and Tastings programs, build an extensive knowledge of the spirit industry during these last years. I have delivered a professional, inclusive and enjoyable learning experience and take responsibility for the transfer of learning back into the workplace. That knowledge who plays a critical and strategic role in a growing industry.
